Super Bowl Celebration

Join us on Sunday, February 3, 2013, for our Annual Super Bowl Celebration. Open from 2-5 on Sunday afternoon, we will have unadvertised specials, freebies and all the latest designs we can gather. This week has brought two new Pine Mountain pillow kits -- WINTER TYPOGRAPHY and VALENTINE TYPOGRAPHY. Quick to stitch for the upcoming Valentine holiday!

Lizzie Kate has done it again with her clever way with words. PROMISE ME YOU’LL ALWAYS REMEMBER and AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE INSPIRATION BOXER are both beautifully done.

 
QUEEN OF QUITE A LOT is one of those designs which is bound to describe someone you know. Now you can present that someone with something very personal. Fun design!



VALENTINE SAMPLER is a beautiful collection of small designs perfect for needlework accessories plus instructions on how to cover a candy box. Super ideas.



 


BUTTERNUT TAVERN, from Stacy Nash, is a sampler returning you to colonial days. Simple AND beautiful.

In addition to this sampling of new things, we are on the receiving end of the wonderful designs being presented in monthly deposits such as Santa’s Village, Little Sheep Virtue and Blue Ribbon Mystery Sampler. If you are on one or more of these lists, you will hear from us shortly.

Winter Stitching Days

Are here for sure and we have some tempting projects just waiting to be started.

This week we received from The Trilogy a sweet little kit perfect for “heart season” or an any time gift for a friend. REUNION OF HEARTS features a simple friendship verse topped by a collection of stitched hearts and a silver charm. Fun project.

Yes, there is yet another series this year from Little House Needlework. The new one is called HOMETOWN HOLIDAY! This is a collection of little buildings and scenes that you can make as dimensional objects or frame. The first design called “My House” could be the beginning of creating your own town, one stitch at a time. This is not a monthly series but will have additions as the designer desires. We have a list going of those who want to receive this series.

The JBW Designs trunk show is still in our shop for another two weeks. Stop by and enjoy.

Mill Hill BUTTONS & BEADS Kits for Spring are available now. They include Puppy Paws, Farmer’s Market and Kitty Paws. Fun projects stitched on perforated paper.

VIOLET’S BLUE, another new Blackbird Designs offering is a beautiful colonial home surrounded by gorgeous spring violets. Included are some creative suggestions for using and finishing these designs.

Trunk Shows Begin

This week we have a Trunk Show of models from JBW Designs. Judy’s designs are very feminine and tend to be French Country. She has things for weddings, babies, holidays and more.

 

The JBW models will be here until the end of January. Stop by and check them out.

Today we received BIG RED HOUSE, a beautiful colonial-style sampler by La-D-Da. Good January project.

Little House Needlework has a new small kit. BIRDHOUSE ALPHABET is a small sampler stitched with Beanstalk Belle Soie by Crescent Colours. This silk is a wonderful stitching fiber and is included in the kit along with two buttons to be used as the flower centers.

Coming in the next couple weeks is Lizzie Kate’s latest series. JINGLES is a collection of 12 different ornaments, all different in size and shape, to be introduced a few at a time for the next few months. Colorful, cute, and filled with the usual Linda Ebright look of happiness. Here are a couple of samples:

It is not too late to sign up for the Little Sheep Virtue program that we told you about last week. We are still collecting names.

ANOTHER NEW YEAR – ANOTHER STACK OF NEW PROJECTS

What a beautiful new design from Nora Corbett of Mirabilia. PROVENCE ROSES shows a beautiful young lady enjoying the sweet fragrance of equally beautiful roses. Wonderful project for 2013!

Crossed Wing Collection has added to their group of amazing hummingbirds. MAGNIFICENT HUMMINGBIRD is stitched on Carribean hand-dyed linen; one of the many beautiful colors in the linen line produced by Crossed Wing.

The first LITTLE SHEEP VIRTUE – HOPE is making its first appearance and it is darling. There will be a companion to Hope each month with a new message. These designs would be wonderful in a basket filled “lamb messages.” We do not yet know the timing on the first shipment but are anxiously awaiting more details. We do have a list of those who want to receive these designs each month, so please let us know if you would like to join the group.

TRUE LOVE SAMPLER BAG & PINKEEP from Stacy Nash Primitives is reminiscent of a project stitched in colonial days. Remember, we have a finisher.
