And yet the designers are still hard at work with more beautiful Christmas designs. The final ornament from Little House Needlework is SALTBOX VILLAGE, scheduled to arrive before the big day.

WINTER SNOW, from Country Cottage, will make you feel a part of the winterscape without the freezing. What a fun project.

For those of us who enjoy Little House Needleworks projects, there is a biggie for 2013. LITTLE SHEEP VIRTUE is a 12-part series to begin in early 2013. These darling lamb designs will have an optional JAB button adornment. We will certainly be participating in this fun project, so watch for more details. Here is a preview photo.

Have you tried stitching on the hand-dyed gingham. If not, here is a beautiful sampler to use as a beginning project. MARY ANN MYERS REPRODUCTION SAMPLER would make a wonderful heirloom.
For all you Lizzie Kate followers, there will be a collection of 2013 Christmas Ornaments coming soon. We will let you know as soon as we receive pictures.

We will be closed December 24, 25, and 26 - returning on Thursday, December 27.
Saturday, December 29, we will be open from 10am until 5pm offering our 13% OFF EVERYTHING SALE to welcome 2013. See you there.

Thanks to all who shared our Holiday Open House last weekend. It was fun to take some time to catch up and see what everyone is stitching.

We are excited to see that designers continue to come up with beautiful holiday designs that can be completed before December 25th. The WONDROUS JOY pillow from Homespun Elegance could be completed before the big day or stitched for next year. Bent Creek’s HOLLY + WHITE is a simple, but elegant  “quick to stitch” project.

Two beautiful projects to work on after the holiday might be FARMSTEAD CHRISTMAS designed by Plum Street Samplers or CHRISTMAS AT HOLLYBERRY FARM done by Stacy Nash. These samplers could make any dark January day a touch brighter.

We have a number of cute and clever designs from Barbara Ana Designs, a new designer to us. Our favorite, MY WOOL, would be another great mid-winter project. Come take a look at Barbara Ana’s other cuties.

We still have some great stocking stuffers on hand:  scissors, needles, project bags, magnifiers with lights and, of course, gift certificates.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.

Time is passing so rapidly and shopping at my house is not keeping up, so we thought we would pass along some stocking stuffer and gift ideas for your stitching pleasure.  Here are some things to add to your Wish List.

Lavishea Lotion Bars – 4 different fragrances – Lavender; Pear; White Lily & Amber; Ginger Blossom.  These lotion bars can be used to soften your hands like regular lotion but you can stitch immediately after using it because it’s not greasy.

Platinum Needles - Great for those of you with metal allergies or those who love special needles.

Don’t forget the new Shepherd’s Bush kits – Wish Stocking, Jolly Stocking and Merry Christmas.

We have several new scissor styles as you can see pictured here.  While the candy cane are season appropriate, I think the ladybugs are too cute.  To add to a more formal stitching collection, you may choose the pineapple or acorn.  You can never have too many scissors.

Gift Certificates are always available in the denomination of your choice.  Almost nothing beats a gift certificate!

Either new to us or new to the market this week, we have SILENT NIGHT from Country Cottage.  Just stitching this design might provide a calming effect.

Elizabeth Designs has  ANTIQUE EVERGREEN SAMPLER, beautifully done sampler featuring many animals in addition to the highlighted evergreens.

WINTER WONDERLAND,  a Country Stitches – With thy Needle & Thread design, gives you two darling snow angels in addition to the primary Merry Christmas design.  What a treat!

Just a reminder about our Christmas Open House Saturday, December 8, from 10 until 2 and Sunday, December 9, from 1 until 4.  Hope to see you there.
